PFF and Women's Colleges

Colleges that explicitly state in their missions a commitment to serving women students are commonly referred to as Women's Colleges. These institutions have historically played a vital role in providing access and opportunity in higher education for young women.

These institutions were important partners in the PFF programs. With their unique missions and campus cultures, the Women's College partners allowed doctoral students to experience faculty life in an environment very different from the one on their research university campus.

The 10 Women's Colleges that were involved in PFF clusters include:

Agnes Scott College Georgia
Alverno College Wisconsin
Chatham College Pennsylvania
Emmanuel College Massachusetts
